Margaret Dolinsky
investigates artistic metaphors and how they can establish guidance
and content in technologically based media. She believes that it is the
participants who complete virtual environments through action and interaction.
Dolinsky, a research artist and accomplished
painter, recently spoke at SIGGRAGH 97
and "Consciousness Reframed," Center for the Advanced Inquiry in the Interactive
Arts, University of Wales College, Newport. Dolinsky's writing appears
in ACM's Computer Graphics, November 1997.
Her VR art work has shown at ARS Electronica Center, Total Museum,
VRAIS and at "Virtual Spaces" in conjunction with ISEA97.
