"Interactive Visualization of Quaternion Julia Sets" utilizes the inverse iteration method to produce a real-time point cloud of the quaternionic Julia set of f(z) = z2 + k. Iterating the inverse function of f(z) takes a generic point in space and moves it toward the Julia set. By randomly choosing different roots for the inverse function, this iteration sprays the points that it computes all over the Julia set, producing a point cloud image of that set in a computationally efficient manner.
