A Formal Love Story

This project was originally intended for the Introduction to Computer Graphics course at UIC but was then continued the following year for the Digital Media course. The assignment was to write a short story about whatever we chose and then translate the written story into a book and accompanying poster using any graphic elements which compose the narrative. My narrative is meant to be a children's story about the creation of shapes which uses simple geometric forms and limited colors to tell the story.

For the Digital Media course taken the following year, the assignment was to take a previous project and animate it using After Effects. I decided to continue this story through animation in an attempt to acheive something the printed book could not.
