Vernacular Typography

The goal of this project was to pick one location in the Chicagoland area and photograph different letterforms found on buildings, storefronts, signage, etc. and then translate those letterforms digitally into a printed poster. The location chosen for this poster is the Chicago Loop and the concept for the poster revolves around the "El" train system.
